Itineraries

 

Day 1 –Agra 

AFTER RECEIVING FROM RAILWAY STATION TRANSFER HOTEL FRES UP HAVING BREAKFAST, WE WILL CARRY ON FOR THE SIGHTSEEING OF THE CITY AGRAWHICH INCLUDES (TAJ MAHAL, FATEHPUR SIKRI, AGRA FORT, TOMB OF AKBARAND JAMA MASJID OF AGRA). TRANSFER TO MATHURA FOR OVERNIGHT STAY.                                       

Welcome to the city of Agra. After receiving, we will be doing the s/s of Agra which startswith famous Taj Mahal one of the seven wonders of the world, after that Fatehpur Sikriwhich was the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar , moving on to the Agra Fort andTomb of Akbar which is an iconic    Mughal architectural masterpiece. After this we will go toJama Masjid of Agra. This is relatively simple mosque built almost entirely in red                    sandstone,and was built by Jahanara, the daughter of Shah Jahan. Now we will be transferred toMathura for overnight stay.

 

 Day 2 –Mathura and Vrindavan

MATHURA AND VRINDAVAN WHERE WE WILL SEE GOVARDHAN PARVAT,KRISHNA JANMSTHAN, DWARKADHISH TEMPLE, BHUTESHWAR MAHADEV MANDIR (SHAKTIPEETH ALSO). VRINDAVAN S/S BANKE BIHARI MANDIR, PREM MANDIR, ISKCON VRINDAVAN AND GOVIND DEVJI TEMPLE. TRANSFER TO NANDGAON FOR OVERNIGHT STAY.

                                                           

On the second day of the tour we will hit the road for Mathura where we will see theplaces like Govardhan Parvat which is an 8km long hill range that is consideredsacred for Vaishnavas. Mythology has it, that Krishna challenged penance for Indraand an enraged Indra flooded the village. After that we will see Lord Krishna’s Janmsthan. Now to the Dwarkadhish Temple, touted as one of the holiest temples in the city of Mathura, is famousall over the country for its elaborate architecture and paintings. Next is BhuteshwarMahadev Mandir which is a revered Hindu temple situated in Garravkendra, Mathuraand dedicated to Lord Shiva,also known as Bhuteshwar Mahadev. It is also a Shaktipeethwhere the ringlet of                                                                       Mata Sati fell after her body was destroyed.

                                                           

Now we will carry on for thesightseeing of Vrindavan starting with Banke Bihari Mandir which is one of the mostimportant temples of Lord Krishna and you just cannot miss the spirituality in the devoteesthat throng the temple every day. After that Prem Mandir which is outstanding in elegance,this temple was shaped by Jagadguru Shri Kripaluji Maharaj in 2001. Now to ISKCON Vrindavan, also known as Sri Krishna-Balaram Mandir, this temple wasbuilt in 1975 on the instructions of Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who is thefounder-acharya ISKCON, and lastly Govind Devji Temple sitting on the laps of thevery town where the Hindu God, Lord Krishna is believed to have spent his childhood.Transfer to                                                                       Nandgaon for overnight stay.

 

Day 3 –Nandgaon and Barsana 

NANDGAON AND BARSANA S/S WHICH INCLUDES NANDA BHAVAN, NANDISVARA TEMPLE, PAVANA SAROVARA AND CHARAN PAHARI..BARSANAS/S HAS SHRIJI TEMPLE, RADHA KUSHALBIHARI TEMPLE AND DAN BIHARITEMPLE. FAREWELL.

                                                           

On the last day of our tour after the breakfast we will carry on for the S/S ofNandgaon and Barsana. Starting with Nanda Bhavan, the present templehas been built on the spot where Nanda’s residence once stood. Within the temple,one can see the large deities of Yashoda and Nanda with Krishna and Balaram standingin between them. Nandishvar Temple means ‘the Lord of Nandi’, another name for thesupreme Lord Shiva. The name has derived its existence from the personality of Lord Shivawho is believed to reside here in the form of a hill. Pavana Sarovara- This Lake is locatedat the bottom of Nandisvara Hill. Yashoda used to bathe Lord Krishna here. This is said tobe one of Lord Krishna’s favourite lakes.

 

                                                             

Charan Pahari- After Krishna entered the caveknown as, he appeared on top of the hill and played his flute which makes the cave get buried.The sound of the flute somewhat melted the hill, and Krishna’s footprints manifested thereIn barsana we will see Shriji Temple  a beloved name for Radha, the daughter of this land andintimate companion to Krishna. It is one of the oldest temples in Barsana which is approximatedto be built 5000 years ago on the Bhanugarh hill top. The beautiful temple of Kushal Bihari wasbuilt by a Rajput king who was an ardent devotee of Radha-Krishna. The sculpture inside thetemple is carved out of sandstone having slinky and beautiful designs. Dan Bihari Temple, asthe name suggests, Dan-                                                                       Bihari, Dan stands for donates and Bihari stands for Krishna, thetemple has a famous story associated with donation. Once a poor Brahmin could                                                                   not arrangethe money for her daughter’s marriage and remember Krishna in grief. Shree Krishna arrangedthe gold equivalent to the weight of Radha                                                               and donated it to the poor Brahmin.At last we will drop you to railway station/airport for farewell.
