This glorious temple is the abode of Lord Jagannathwho is a form of Lord Vishnu. It is the most revered pilgrimage site for Hindus and is included in thepious Char Dham Yatra with Badrinath, Dwarka and Rameshwaram. Apart from the main shrinethat rises high, many minor temples within the complex will make you feel like you have entered God's home itself.The splendid Oriya architecture of the Jagannath Puri Temple is an icing on the cake. The four gates are beautifullydesigned with intricate carvings. Day 2 -Puri Beach, (Puri)

                                                           

Puri Beach is one of the finest coastlines in East India, bordering the Bay of Bengal and is locatedat a distance of 35 km from the Sun Temple. With the sun gleaming on the pristine waters of thebeach, the place is ideal for holiday makers looking for some solitude. It is often flocked bydevotees visiting the beach for a purification dip who come to Puri to pay their homage to LordJagannath. The beach is also renowned for the sand sculptures made by internationallyknown sand artist Sudarshan Patnaik. The sculptures are usually inspired by the artcovering the temple walls or other mythological character or episode.Adorned with fine golden sand and gushing waves, Puri Beach is quite renowned for itspeaceful and calm surroundings. You can get a taste of the local life of Puri as well, as it isa favourite haunt of the natives of this place. Tourists can easily distinguish the localfishermen by their triangular straw hats and dhotis. These fishermen also serve as thelifeguards on the beach and take visitors out in the sea on their boats to look at themesmerising sunset. The stretch on the Chakratirtha side is much more tranquil andpleasant for a long stroll, and if you're feeling a little adventurous you can also go intothe waters for a swim.

Day 4 -Cuttack 

 

                                                             

Referred to as the cultural capital of Odisha, Cuttack is a commercial city with plenty ofimpressive tourist attractions.Cuttack is the second-largest city in Odisha and the former capital as well. Local handicraftsof this state are displayed and traded in this very city. Cuttack is always buzzing with culturalactivities and plays host to a variety of festivals like the Baliyatra, which commemorates theancient trade links the countries like Java, Bali and Sumatra, Durga Puja and the Kite Festivalwhich is held in the month of January. Cuttack is also known as the silver city because of its famous silver work. SurCuttack is ahighly-planned city and has a number of tourist attractions which will make a person'strip here a memorable one.

 

Day 5 -Konark 

 

                                                           

Konark, in the state of Orissa is renowned world over for the Sun Temple which is also aUNESCO World Heritage Site, the Annual dance festival and its beautiful sandy beaches.Konark's Sun Temple is an architectural marvel and is one of the most beautiful monumentsof India. The Annual Dance Festival is a five day-long cultural extravaganza which invites uniquedancing talent from all over the country. This festival is a grand celebration of our country's richcultural and artistic legacy, an event to truly rejoice the various dance forms that our countryhas invented. The celebrations happen with the backdrop of the Sun temple, adding grandeurand magnificence to the whole program. Besides this, Konark also hosts the Sun Festival,where devotees offer prayers to the Sun God by taking dips in the sea. The Dance Festivalalso hosts a Handicrafts Mela where one can buy unique and exquisitely handcrafted pieceswhich beautifully reflect the Oriya art form.

 

Day6 Konark Puri (Drop)
