Day  1 – Varanasi

                                               

Receiving from Varanasi Rly Station, Transfer to Hotel .Leisure, we will show  Varanasi localSarnath Buddhist temple, Bharatmata temple, Banaras Hindu University Birla temple, Hanuman temple,Tulsimanas Mandir,Durga temple, Evening 6.30 pm Holy River Maa Ganga Aarti,Lord Shiva Baba Vishwanathand Mata Annpurna Darshan back hotel.

 

 

Day 2 - Vindhwashni Chitrakoot

                                                             

 

Having Breakfast We will start Maa Vndhwashani temple.Ashtrabhuja,kalikhow,and Chitrakoot Night hait.

 

 

Day 3 -Chitrakoot Local sightseeing Maihar 120 km

Day 4 - Maihar

                                                             

On the Morning Maihar Devi Temple (Maa Sharadha Devi) Darshan  located in Maihar in Satna is anotherpopular religious site.The temple is situated at the top of Trikoota Hill, and around 1063 steps lead to the temple shrine on top.A ropeway has been designed for pilgrims who are unable to make the climb. It is believed that Lord Shivawhile carrying the body of the dead goddess mother Sati, dropped her necklace or ‘haar’ here, giving theplace its name Maihar. The legend of Alha and Udal who were devotees of Sharada Devi were the first tovisit the temple in dense forest and address the goddess by the name of Sharda Mai. The pond of Alha andUdal can be seen from the temple which also gives a panoramic view of                                                               the surroundings below.

                                                           

 

After thatwe will head to Panna where we will indulge in the jungle safari. Overnight stay at Panna.

 

 

Day 5 -Panna to Khajuraho

                                                           

Panna National Park has a total core area of 542.66 sq. km out of which Kenghariyal Sanctuary is 78.53 sq. km and Panna (Ganga) Sanctuary is 45.20 sq. km.The Park was declared as a Tiger Reserve in the year 1994 and it was the twenty-second tigerreserve of India. In the year 2011, the reserve was designated as a Biosphere Reserve. An integral part of Tiger Conservation in MP, as of 2017, the total number of tigers inside the tigerreserve is believed to be around 35, with all of them being monitored through radio collars.One of the biggest wildlife sanctuaries in Central India, it was given the Award of Excellence byMinistry of Tourism in 2007 for being the best maintained National Park in India.Panna Wildlife Sanctuary is an aesthetic delight too with some of the biggest waterfalls in India.

                                                             

On this day of the tour we will embark on the journey of Khajuraho starting with Dulhadev temple builtin the year 1130. The Dulhadev Temple enshrines a beautiful Shivalingam and striking sculptures of Apsarasand other ornamented figures. The temple also has a stunning sculpture of Lord Shiva with his wife Parvati,after that Kandariya Mahadev temple built around 1025 -1050 AD. This temple exudes grandeur and finessein its architecture, carrying on to the Lakshman Temple. The oldest and most aesthetically pleasing templesamong the Western group of temples and named after the ruler of that time. The trinity of Brahma, Vishnu andShiva is depicted in the horizontal beam over the entrance of the temple. Parsvnath Temple- This temple is thelargest among the Weastern group of temples and has intricately detailed carvings on its walls. Now over toVishwanath Temple. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple is one among the western group of temples.It has a beautiful marble Shivalinga as the main deity. An imposing image of Brahma is also housed in this temple.Lastly Devi Jagdamba Temple, initially built as a Vishnu temple, the Devi Jagdamba temple has beautifullycarved erotic figures. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.

 

Day 6 – KHajuraho TO Varanasi
