Lucknow, a large city in northern India, is the capital of the st to luknate of Uttar Pradesh. Toward its center is Rumi Darwaza, a Mughal gateway. Nearby, the 18th-century Bara Imambara shrine has a huge arched hall. Upstairs, Bhool Bhulaiya is a maze of narrow tunnels with city views from its upper balconies. Close by, the grand Victorian Husainabad Clock Tower was built as a victory column in 1881.

The building is located on a Terraced location which was a lake at same paintThe architecture is mixed style that combines various techniques of Italian. The college is one of the only educational institutios to receve a battle hono due to its role during the seige of Lucknow. 6 -The name Chattar Manzil leterally means the Umb in the 1780rella Palace and was the residence to the Nawabs of Awadh and their successors.The palace was constructed 1780 and become on of the major stronghold of the revolutionaries during the 1857 uprising.The architectural style of the original buildingwas cross between Indo -European style and later restored by the British according to their preferences.
