KUALA LUMPUR - LANGKAWI (6 N / 7 D)

Day 1 - Kuala Lumpur

 

 

Welcome to Malaysia! You will be welcomed on arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day getting your bearings and exploring the neighbourhood.

 

 

 

Day 2 - Kuala Lumpur

 

 

After breakfast at the hotel, you begin your tour of the Malaysian capital. Your tour of Kuala Lumpur will take you to all of the city’s attractions including the gold domed King’s Palace, National Monument and National Museum built to commemorate the Malaysian Struggle for Independence. You can also load up on souvenirs at China Town before heading to the serene National Mosque, the Independence Square or Anglican Church and the iconic KL Tower (with entrance to observation deck) that adorns every Malaysian postcard. Your city tour ends in the afternoon and you have the rest of the evening free to indulge in some retail therapy.

 

Day 3 - Genting

 

 

Enjoy a scrumptuous breakfast at the hotel and leave for the Genting Highlands hill top resort. Admire the stunning views as you ascend to the resort by cable car. One of Malaysia’s biggest tourist draws, Genting has something for everyone. Visit the indoor theme park (on your own), perfect for adrenaline junkies of every age. You could even try your luck at Casino de Genting, the biggest of its kind in the country. En route visit Batu Caves, home to one of the largest Hindu temples outside of India dedicated to Lord Murugan.

 

 

Day 4 - Langkawi

 

 

Enjoy your last morning in Malaysia before checking out of your hotel and being transferred to the airport, catch your flight to the tranquil paradise of Langkawi. You will be welcomed on arrival at the airport & transferred to your beach resort / hotel.

 

 

 

Day 5 - Langkawi

 

 

After breakfast at the hotel, you begin your tour of Langkawi discovering its rich culture, history and landmarks. You could visit its white sandy beaches, an oriental village, and a crocodile farm and even try your hand at water sports. Your city tour ends in the afternoon and you have the rest of the evening free to indulge in some retail therapy or a range of exciting optional tours.

 

 

Day 6 - Langkawi

 

 

After pickup from your Langkawi hotel, begin your tour with a boat trip from Pantai Cenang and discover some amazing rock formations as the boat takes you along the coastline of many islands. Head first towards the island of Pulau Dayang Bunting (Pregnant Maiden Lake) whose waters are believed to have magical effects on infertile women! As you enjoy your boat cruise, witness the spectacular sights of the sea such as eagles diving for fish and crab-eating monkeys. Stop at Pulau Beras Basah, where you can soak in the warm rays of the sun from the uninhabited white sandy beach or take a refreshing dip in its crystal-clear waters. Finally, a stopover at bay of Singa Besar island for Eagle Feeding. Here you have a chance to get close to see the different species of eagle such as Brahminy Kite and White Bellied Sea Eagle. Note: Advisable to bring along sun-cream, swimming, drinking water and towels. (Not Inclusive of Entrance Fees to Pregnant Maiden Island).

Day 7 - Langkawi

 

Enjoy your last morning in Malaysia before checking out of your hotel and being transferred to the airport, where you will depart for your destination with bags full of souvenirs and happy memories.
